Oilatum Natural Repair Face Cream Review

Over the last few years I have struggled with increasingly dry and blotchy skin and have tried numerous creams and lotions, including high branded moisturisers and good old E45, Aqueous and vitamin E creams. None really made a whole world of difference.

I discovered Oilatum whilst watching Pixiwoo on youtube. They were raving over the stuff and I thought "what's the harm, can only be a few quid I'll give it a go".

So off to boots I go, only to find that the product was priced at £7.65 for 50ml. Which is pretty pricey compared to E45 and the other creams it was on the shelf with. The label said it would nourish dry, irritating and sensitive skins. I believe the Oilatum range is designed to treat eczema and similar skin conditions.

Anyway, I gave in, paid the £7.65 and left, feeling a little apprehensive. I will now say I am on my second tube. This stuff is fantastic. My skin has brightened up massively, is less red and blotchy although I still get the occasional flare up as I am applying and removing make-up more than the average person as part of my course, and the cream gives a nice dewy glow under my foundation. You really don't need to use a lot either. I would say 50ml would last about 2 months, so that's less than £4 a month for lovely skin. Well worth it in my opinion.

I am going to be trying the body cream next as I am having a lot of trouble with patches of dry skin, so stay tuned for a review on that.

So Oilatum Natural Repair Face Cream... would I recommend it? Definately if you have dry or blotchy skin like me. For oilier skins I am not so sure, having not tested it on an oilier skin myself. It may be too rich for an oilier skintype.

So that's my first review over. Hope you enjoyed.
Thanks for looking.
